The style of official documents has different subtitles and the language of business letters is one of them.

The aim of business letters are:

1. to reach agreement between two contracting parties;

2. to state the conditions binding two parties in an understanding.

Each of the substyles of official documents makes use of special terms. The documents use set expressions inherited from early Victorian period. This vocabulary is conservative. Legal documents contain a large proportion of formal and archaic words used in their dictionary meaning. In diplomatic and legal documents many words have Latin and French origin. There are a lot of abbreviations and conventional symbols.

The most noticeable feature of grammar is the compositional pattern. Every document has its own stereotyped form. The form itself is informative and tells you with what kind of letter we deal with.

Business letters contain: heading, addressing, salutation, the opening, the body, the closing, complimentary clause, the signature. Syntactical features of business letters are - the predominance of extended simple and complex sentences, wide use of participial constructions, homogeneous members.

Morphological peculiarities are passive constructions, they make the letters impersonal. There is a tendency to avoid pronoun reference. Its typical feature is to frame equally important factors and to divide them by members in order to avoid ambiguity of the wrong interpretation.

Poetry is the subtitle of belles-lettres style. It is characterized by:

its orderly form which is based mainly on the rhythmic and phonetic arrangement of the utterances;

brevity of expressions,

fresh unexpected imagery;

emotional coloring promoted by synonyms, epithets, metaphors, similies,etc;

specific means of syntactical connection;

the synthesis of formal and informal English.

Four years ago, Jaguar announced that it was doing  (ttps://blog.caranddriver.com/love-cats-jaguar-building-six-additional-wonderfully-wonderfully-pretty-lightweight-e-types/), exact re-creations of a competition-oriented car that had been allotted 18 production slots—although only 12 were ever constructed. A massive fire at the automaker’s Browns Lane plant put an end to that after 16 had been completed. And now the company is re-creating what is most certainly the most storied competition machine in its history: the D-type.

While the C-type that preceded it bore a resemblance to roadgoing XK models, the D-type might just as easily have rolled out of the USAF’s Groom Lake facility by way of Upper Snodsbury. But it wasn’t just a visual gut punch. Introduced in 1954, the mighty D pulled a hat trick at Le Mans, winning at the Circuit de la Sarthe in 1955, 1956, and 1957. Pedigreed examples have been known to change hands  (ttps://www.caranddriver.com/flipbook/all-the-money-the-top-25-most-expensive-cars-sold-at-the-2016-monterey-auctions), but by the standards of the XKSS and E-type Lightweight, the D was practically a mass-market automobile. between 1954 and 1956. According to other sources, 71 were built: 18 factory racers and 53 customer cars. Regardless, 25 more will be added to the tally, since Jag asserts that it originally intended to build a run of 100.

Given that the XKSS is fundamentally a finless D-type, that recent revival program gave Jaguar a leg up when producing the racers. Customers will be able to choose from the early “short nose” bodywork or the later “long nose” that gave the D-type the aerodynamic slipperiness it needed to conquer France. The engineering prototype, which goes on display at the Rétromobile classic-car show in Paris this week, features the long-nose bodywork. What’s not yet known is which engine or engines will be offered in the continuation cars, as D-types carried 3.4-, 3.8-, and 3.0-liter straight-sixes under their curvaceous hoods over the course of the car’s run.

The pubicistic style treats certain political, social, economic, cultural problems. The aim of this style is to form public opinion, to convince the reader or the listener.

Substyles: The oratory essays, journalistic articles, radio and TV commentary.

The main features:

a logically precise clear cut syntax;

a carefully and thoroughly thought out selection of words;

the use of sd and em;

carefull paragraphing;

intonation full of conviction and persistence;

consiseness (сжатость).

Oratory. The oratorical style is the oral subdivision of the publicist style. It makes use of a great number of expressive means to arouse and keep the public's interest: repetition, gradation, antithesis, rhetorical questions, emotive words, elements of colloquial speech. Similes and metaphors are generally traditional. It is prepared beforehand and it is a monologue. It has some special formulas of address and conclusion (e.g. ladies and gentlemen).

The Association of Respiratory Syncytial Virus Infection and Childhood Asthma: A Meta-Analysis.

The common clinical respiratory diseases in pediatrics are childhood asthma, it is also called children asthmatic bronchitis, which has a high incidence, long course and easy to repeat, and seriously affects the health of the children, even the safety of life [ (ttps://www.scirp.org/journal/paperinformation.aspx?paperid=97592)]. The factors of asthma are divided into biologic and abiotic. Respiratory virus infection is the main cause of bronchial asthma. Viral infection is both a source of infection and an allergen in the body, and there is also an inflammatory reaction that can cause asthma exacerbation [ (ttps://www.scirp.org/journal/paperinformation.aspx?paperid=97592)]. Respiratory syncytial virus, human rhinovirus, corona virus, influenza virus and adenovirus can cause asthma attacks in children. There are reports that respiratory syncytial virus is closely related to airway hyperresponsiveness, asthma attack and recurrent wheezing. Respiratory infection is the most common cause of wheezing in children under 3 years old, accounting for 84.4% of the total wheezing cases. Some studies believe that the mechanism of recurrent wheezing caused by RSV is through stimulating the body to

This study explored that there is a close relationship between respiratory syncytial virus infection and acute attack of asthma in children.

The style of scientific prose has 3 subdivisions:

1) the style of humanitarian sciences;

2) the style of "exact" sciences;

3) the style of popular scientific prose.

Its function is to work out and ground theoretically objective knowledge about reality.

The peculiarities are: objectiveness; logical coherence, impersonality, unemotional character, exactness.

Vocabulary. The use of terms and words used to express a specialized concept in a given branch of science. Terms are not necessarily. They may be borrowed from ordinary language but are given a new meaning.
