1. I would like to tell you about the department store which is situated near the place where I live. The name of it is “Stockmann”, it`s situated in the center of the city. The owner of the department store is a company from Finland, so the same stores can be found in Finland and Estonia.
The building is very big, there are 6 floors there, including a parking, food court and an entertainment center for children. The main advantage of this department store is that it is possible to buy famous brands of clothes, shoes, cosmetics and other goods for home. Also customers can buy a discount card to get a 10 % discount for any their purchases. This card can be used in any “Stockmann” store.
Customers prefer this department store because there are not many people even during sales, also customers can find goods of medium or high price. The quality of the goods according to the customs` opinion is high, different well-known brands can be found there too. Also there is a supermarket to buy food and beverages. The working time of the department store and the supermarket is very convenient.
To analyze disadvantages I read some feedbacks. The main disadvantages of the department store are very high prices for the majority of citizens of Russia and unjustified expectations regarding the quality of goods. However, the store often runs promotions, sales, which often reach 50 %.
The department store has a range of additional services, for example, services, clothes alterations, bought in the department store, the department store has a children's amusement park. The attentive staff offer to draw, watch cartoons, or play funny games with children while their parents are doing shopping.
If customers are hungry they can visit café named Deli, but in comparison with other trade centers there is only one café and it situated on the lower floor.
In conclusion I would like to add that if you want to buy something special and of high quality, buy all things under one roof and find European goods “Stockmann” is the best place to do it.
2. I would like to tell you about my friend, who lives in the USA and about her habits. My friends name is Britney, she lives near Washington, The USA. We get acquainted in Paris while traveling, and since that time we are friends, we visit each other, travel together and communicate with the help of skype and other programs created for free communication.
She is 27 years old, she is not married and works as a marketer. Her work involves conducting surveys of consumers to identify their preferences. Its main objective is building a career and a family. Career will give her stability and independence, in addition it interesting for her.
Most of all she likes travelling and doing sports. She is beautiful and in good shape. She doesn`t have bad habits, she is vegetarian too, but she doesn`t insist that everyone should do the same. What I like about her and her attitude to food, that she knows many interesting facts about food, vitamins, minerals and everything you should do to be healthy. She likes to cook something for herself and her guests, but she doesn`t cook very often, because she is very busy.
She says that she can`t live without coffee, fruits and sport. She drinks fresh every morning after jogging, in the evening she visits gym twice a week, play volleyball with her colleges sometimes. She said that it had been very difficult for her not to eat fast food, meat and sugar. She can afford herself wine sometime and fast food without meat.
I asked her why she was a vegetarian, and she answered that she liked animals too much, also she felt herself better without meat.
She doesn`t think only about her body, she likes to study, to know more, so she takes different trainings and courses connected with healthy style of life and nonverbal communication. She is a very interesting person to communicate to, even before travelling she reads and collects information about the country, which she is going to visit, about sights and history of the country, so her friends don`t need to have a guide. She is smart, friendly and kind. She doesn`t pay attention to clothes, brands which are on a person. She understandable and accepts people as they are.

I usually get up at 7 o`clock, I have enough time to sleep well and get energy for the working day. I prefer to have a high-calorific breakfast, because it gives me energy, also I eat sweets or cookies for breakfast, I know that metabolism is more active before 11 am. After breakfast I do makeup and wash my teeth, get dressed.
I really like the procedure of applying makeup, it's nice to see how the image is transformed, it cheers me up every morning. Choice of clothing is also important for my emotional state, sometimes I spend a lot of time on clothes selection, but that choice always fits my mood.
Then my day is much like day by day, I work, meet new people, communicate with colleagues. I really like my job. In the evening I fully devote the vacation with my boyfriend, we go to the cinema, theatre, we are engaged in sports, go to the swimming pool, if necessary, we go shopping, go to cafés when the weather is conducive to walks. I go to yoga, this is a great opportunity to keep the body in good shape, it does not exert serious physical effort. Yoga allows me to find harmony with myself, helps to relax. In the evening I like to watch movies, read a book or the news. Sometimes I watch shows that have already ended as I don't have to wait for the release of the new series. Sometimes it is very important that to change, but when you live in a big city this is not a problem. it may seem that I have too many, but any young person can spend time on a hobby. I go to bed at about 11 PM, if only I was not interested in the series or the movie I want to watch until the end.
